Cannabis is known to contain cannabinoids – Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD) that are of interest for medical studies relating to treatments in certain medical conditions. Human body also produces its own cannabinoid chemicals. Cannabinoids have been shown to produce anti-cancer effects. Besides, these have been found to induce some positive effects in the patients with Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes mellitus type 1, epilepsy, and Glaucoma. THC has a property to diminish pain and nausea and can boost appetite. It has an anti-inflammatory property and works well in muscle control problems. Use of cannabis has been shown to have effective results in neurological disorders and in plummeting the effect of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Adverse effects of cannabis

People buy weed online despite its limited accessibility for consumption. Data is inadequate to arrive at any conclusion about its real health benefits. The adverse effect may not be serious with its short-term use and generally reflected in the form of drowsiness, shakiness, cardiovascular and psychoactive effects. The quantum of its use for medicinal purposes is not associated with any permanent mental loss in adults, but long-term treatment in youngsters should be evaluated cautiously as they are more prone to these deficiencies. Despite this, people continue to buy cannabis online or mail order cannabis without going deep in detail about the effects it can have with its medicinal use.
